NanoPlastHub 2026: Valuable Connections and a Successful Live LVEM5 Demonstration

Image-Science was pleased to participate as an exhibitor at NanoPlastHub 2026 – International Forum on Submicron Plastic Contaminants, held in Szeged, Hungary, from 17–19 September 2026.
The conference provided an excellent opportunity to meet researchers and professionals, exchange experiences and discuss current analytical challenges in the field of micro- and nanoplastics.
The LVEM5 in action
One of the highlights of our participation was the live demonstration of the LVEM5 compact electron microscope.
Visitors had the opportunity to see the instrument in operation and learn more about its TEM, STEM, SEM and electron diffraction capabilities. The demonstrations also provided a valuable setting for discussing specific research questions and exploring how the LVEM5 can support the imaging and characterisation of extremely small particles and structures.
We were delighted by the interest in the instrument and the many insightful questions and professional conversations throughout the event.
