On 4–5 November 2026, Hungary’s battery industry gathers in Debrecen for the sixth edition of Hungarian Battery Days, the leading battery and e-mobility event in Central and Eastern Europe. The Image-Science team will be there, and we would be glad to meet you.
About the event
Hungarian Battery Days is organised by the Hungarian Battery Association and White Paper Consulting. It brings together industry leaders, researchers and policymakers to discuss the technological, economic and sustainability challenges facing the battery sector.
The first day is a full-day conference at the Kölcsey Center with more than 40 speakers. Topics include:
- Hungary’s position in the European battery value chain
- Global market trends and the supply chain outlook
- Technology innovation and R&D
- Circular economy and battery recycling
- E-mobility and energy storage deployment
On the second day, participants can visit battery and e-mobility facilities in and around Debrecen.
Why microscopy matters for batteries
The performance, safety and lifetime of a battery depend on what happens at the micro and nano scale. Particle size and morphology of cathode and anode materials, coating quality, electrode porosity and degradation after cycling are all examined with high-resolution imaging and materials analysis.
Image-Science supplies electron microscopes and analytical instruments for both research and industrial quality control, and we support our partners with application expertise and service.
