⇒ ISO 25178 parameter calculation – determine standard feature parameters (Spd, Spc, S5p, S5v, S10z, Sha, Sda, Shv, Sdv). Use Spd (peak density) and Spc (mean peak curvature) in tribological applications such as elasticity and plasticity analysis.
⇒ Texture direction analysis – display texture orientation with a compass rose and compute surface isotropy.
⇒ Furrow detection for dermatology – identify and highlight furrows exceeding or falling below a height threshold; compute furrow metrics including maximum depth, average depth, and mean density.
